Woodlands Wildlife Refuge is celebrating 30 years and they are "Lighting the Night". The event was a huge success and we got to design the commemorative logo, Save the Date, and Invitation.

Airplane theme Bar Mitzvah

Evan wanted his own personalized monogram and it had to have an airplane so we designed one especially for him. This is the Save the Date Postcard for his upcoming Bar Mitzvah and the invitation suite will resemble a Boarding Pass style. Stay tuned to see it!

Bug & Fish Wedding Invitation Package

If you've read about the personalized custom logo and Save the Dates for Malena & Cory in our past blog, you will be pleased to finally see the entire Wedding Invitation package. Below is a Panel Pocket double layered invite with a Mad Libs style response card (which guests should get a kick out of), an Informational card and hot pink response envelope. Malena is all about "fun" and I think their guests are going to have a blast at this wedding!

Save the Date

Jen and Jon are an amazing couple who came to us wanting an elegant, yet earthy Save the Date for their wedding at The Skytop Lodge. Jen's mom created this beautiful logo with J's since their last name will be Jacob and whether you see it or not doesn't matter, it's a piece of art. So we created this foldover Save the Dates held with silver brads and layered it onto a metallic swirl paper. We also created custom magnets to match!

Once Upon a Time...

A bug and a fish got together. This is the story between one of my clients who want a personalized logo to represent their nicknames for each other. She calls him fish and he calls her bug. So cute! Well they were ecstatic when I designed this cute illustration to put on all of their wedding materials, from save the dates and invitations to table decor. The couple wants this to be more of a BIG PARTY than a typical wedding. Printed on white shimmer paper and enclosed in a metallic silver envelope up the elegance factor to this cute Save the Date.

Pocket Sleeve Save the Date

Ashley wanted wedding invitations that had that elegant affair feeling yet the soft country happy hippie look. A bit of a challenge but it all worked out in the end. You'll have to check back to see the final product of her wedding invitations. So, in reverse order, we quickly tackled her Save the Dates. She didn't want the typical ones with a photo on them or something as basic and simple as a card so I suggested telling a brief story about the couple. A great idea for those that are not as familiar with the bride or groom and something that will have their guests actually taking the time to read it. Check them out below, they were printed on a shimmery linen paper and inserted into a chocolate brown Pocket Sleeve. The colors and style reflect their wedding invitation suite that will be done soon.

It's all about the color combination

The latest wedding package we put together was so much fun to work on. A nice triple layered bright pink and turquoise color combination printed on a shimmery white paper stock. The package included Save the Dates, Wedding Invitation and thrown into the mix, a Program, Thank You card, and Placecard. Using the red and white baker's twine is my new love and I try to throw it into any design I can. For this, it worked out perfectly matching the pixie stick pattern on the belly band and tying everything together.

Fun & Whimsical Wedding

Alison's wedding is going to be so much fun! She's having a "country fair" sort of theme. Bright colors such as turquoise and pinks with the possibility of a photo booth, balloons as table assignments for guests, popcorn and cotton candy, and jugs of lemonade.  She sent us some photos for inspiration which led to these super cute Save the Dates. A Pocketfold invitation set was also included to match and she loved it. I can't wait to get started on those. But for now these self-mailing Pouchettes will be sent out tomorrow to California fully assembled so all Ali's mom has to do is hand address the mailing panel.

Sending out Save the Dates before your wedding is a great way to prepare your guests for travel, accommodations, and to even give them a glimpse of what style you're wedding will be. These are some we've done that have stood out among the rest.

Country Style

Katie and Cory were having a real rustic, country wedding and wanted a Save the Date to reflect both of their activities. Cory is an avid fisherman so creating a simple tag style Save the Date hung by an actual fishing line seemed like a perfect solution. They loved it! I also was able to design a country themed Bridal Shower Invitation with a personalized apron of the bride-to-be.
