Summer Parties

Every summer I get to celebrate two of my own kid's birthdays and it gets harder and harder each year to come up with a theme. Not every party necessarily has to have a theme, but it does make things a little easier. This year my daughter wanted the animal/reptile guy to come back that we had for my son's party and to tell you the truth, it was great for the adults too. Enzo has such a great sense of humor that I figured "why not do it again." So these are the invites that went out to please the boys and the girls. I am obsessed with string tie envelopes so I had to use them for a little something different.

Pool Time!

Since summer is vastly approaching, we've been called upon to design postcards, ads, and flyers for Sahara Pools in Lebanon, NJ. Music to My Ears

One of our clients just started up a deejay/entertainment business and we've just finished up a Standup Banner display for them to promote themselves on stage. Take a look and if you're getting married, having a party or need some music at any type of event you should really check them out.

Busy Month

May has been a busy creative month for Paperworks Design Studio. We have been developing a lot of logos which tend to be our favorite. Besides the recent ones in earlier posts, here is another for a local insurance company who is rebranding their company. They were formerly Raritan Valley Insurance and are now known as Cedar Risk Management. Their new website is not up yet but here's a sneak peek of their logo. They participate in a lot of local events (marathons, etc) so they also wanted a secondary "fun" logo for shirts or hats or sponsorship banners.

Once Upon a Time...

A bug and a fish got together. This is the story between one of my clients who want a personalized logo to represent their nicknames for each other. She calls him fish and he calls her bug. So cute! Well they were ecstatic when I designed this cute illustration to put on all of their wedding materials, from save the dates and invitations to table decor. The couple wants this to be more of a BIG PARTY than a typical wedding. Printed on white shimmer paper and enclosed in a metallic silver envelope up the elegance factor to this cute Save the Date.

I LOVE Chevron!

So I've been dying to do an wedding invitation with chevron stripes, something I am totally into right now and would paint my walls with it if I had the time... Well, this is the second invitation I've done for the Maritime Parc in Jersey City and I LOVE that place. LaTosha came to us because she was looking for "graphic design", not just an invitation house. Her colors are orange and gray and we are going to pull this whole look together with her Programs, Table Cards, Menus, etc so be sure to check back to see how they came out. Here is the Pocket invitation, although without the flap which is different, and a diamond embellishment on the belly band seal. Ombre was something she liked so we set the invitation apart with a nice fading gray one. We printed everything on a nice textured shimmer linen paper to add some texture from the sleek metallic white pocketfold. Take a look!

For All Those Skiers Out There!

Paperworks Design Studio did some logo design, banners and packaging for a great new product called EZ Lift Ski Tote. They were in a ski tradeshow in NJ and used these designs to promote their product. It was very successful and it's now being displayed in stores. Check it out and get yourself one if you own skis!
